Hi! I'm Aria Maeve.

I’m the founder of Wild Rhythm Somatics, offering spaces where movement becomes a portal back to truth, freedom, and embodied aliveness.

My work lives at the intersection of somatics, ancient yogic technologies, nervous system regulation, and spiritual awakening. I guide people back into relationship with their bodies so they can move through life with more authenticity, presence, and power.

For me, this path was never just a career, it was a calling.

MOVEMENT IS MY MEDICINE
RHYTHM IS MY PRAYER

THE JOURNEY

My path into this work began many years ago through a quiet curiosity about the deeper layers of life.

In 2007, meditation and seasonal ceremony opened a doorway into an exploration of consciousness, energy, and the subtle dimensions of being. Since then, this path has continued to unfold, inviting me to learn from the ways body, spirit, and nervous system meet in the process of healing.

By 2010, I was organically gathering friends and loved ones in living rooms, forests, and sacred spaces — sharing circles, movement, and ritual. These spaces became places where people could soften, regulate, and reconnect with something essential within themselves.

My formal studies continued to nourish this path over time. I am a 500-hour Experience Certified Yoga Teacher, completing my foundational 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2015 at Peachtree Yoga Center in Sandy Springs, Georgia.

In the years that followed, I continued deepening my studies through mentorship, teaching, and additional trainings. During this time, I spent four years studying with Maria Borghoff — psychotherapist, artist, and tantric yoga teacher, including a 12-week deep dive into yoga anatomy through a pychosomatic lens, which continues to shape the way I understand embodiment and the body’s wisdom.

Alongside this mentorship, I pursued additional certifications in Yoga for Anxiety & Depression, Restorative Yoga, Creative Expression, and Reiki Energy Facilitation, while also owning and operating a yoga studio for seven years. During that time, I had the honor of co-creating and leading a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training for two years, supporting new teachers as they stepped into their own voice and leadership.

In 2022, I completed a 300-hour Trauma-Informed Advanced Yoga Teacher Training through Yoga Farm Ithaca, where I explored Kundalini activation through the lenses of Ayurveda, lunar archetypes, and the Enneagram.

Also in 2022, I completed a nine-month trauma-informed leadership training — New Earth Legacy Leadership through Sacred Breath Academy, deepening my understanding of breathwork, nervous system repair, and embodied transformation.

Today, my work blends influences from tantra yoga, somatic practice, kundalini, breathwork, authentic expression, and energy medicine.

At the heart of it all is a simple truth:

The body already knows how to heal.

Sometimes it's just asking for the right rhythm, the right space, and the right community to remember.

The Work

Through Wild Rhythm Somatics, I invite people into shared spaces of embodiment where movement, breath, sound, and presence become pathways back to ourselves.

These experiences unfold in both community gatherings and intimate one-on-one sessions, each offering a different doorway into the same remembering.

The spaces we enter are not something I simply create for others. They are living fields we co-weave together.

Every person who arrives becomes part of the rhythm, shaping the depth, the expression, and the unfolding of the moment.

Within this shared exploration, movement becomes language. Breath becomes medicine. Voice becomes a bridge back to the truth living inside the body.

Authentic expression, intuitive movement, and vocal activation are welcomed as natural gateways into release, regulation, and remembrance.

Rather than striving to fix or force transformation, we practice listening — to sensation, to rhythm, to the subtle intelligence moving through the body and through the collective.

My role is to guide the process with care, presence, and attunement while honoring the deep wisdom already alive within each person.

Together, we remember.
